Southfield was founded in December 1993 to provide value-based, growth-oriented investment management services for high net worth individuals and institutions. Throughout its history, Southfield has followed the same investment philosophy: (1) invest in great businesses and (2) wait for attractive valuations.

Successful execution of our philosophy requires rigorous research and patience. We invest only after we gain a thorough understanding of a company's business and when the market provides us an attractive price. By following these principles, we believe that we can generate superior returns over the long term, while minimizing downside risk.

We are located in Stamford, Connecticut, about 40 miles from New York City.
